A utility for converting between GSON's JsonElement family of classes, and standard Java types.

All conversions are deep, meaning for collections, contained values are also converted.

Converts a JsonObject to a Map.

a new map

unwrapArray

List<Object> unwrapArray(com.google.gson.JsonArray array)

Converts a JsonArray to a List.

Parameters:

array - the json array

Returns:

a new list

unwrapArrayToSet

Set<Object> unwrapArrayToSet(com.google.gson.JsonArray array)

Converts a JsonArray to a Set.

Parameters:

array - the json array

Returns:

a new set

unwarpPrimitive

unwrapElement

Tries to wrap an object to a JsonElement.

Supported types: String, Number, Boolean, Character, Iterable, and Map, where the key is a String.

Parameters:

object - the object to wrap

Returns:

the new json element
